TOTAL VALUE OF PRIZES: 25.000 PLN DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: September 5th ENTRY FEE:55 EUR The competition is open to composers of all ages and nationalities. More than one score per composer is permitted. It is possible to submit works already performed and/or awarded in other competitions, excluding compositions already published.Only compositions for chamber ensemble of 3 to 5 instruments (chosen from the list below), without conductor. Instruments:1 flute, 1 oboe, 1 clarinet, 1 bassoon, 1 french horn, 1 piano, 2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello. Use live electronics or tape is not permitted.Duration:10 to 16 min. The awarded compositions will be performed on 30thof November 2019 in the Witold Lutoslawski Concert Studio, Polish Radio, at a special concert organised by the ISCM Polish Section and Polish Radio Channel 2. The concert will be broadcasted and offered to all members of the European Broadcasting Union. HAUSPOZ Euskal Herriko Akordoei Elkartea, calls for the XII International Accordion Composition
Competition "Francisco Escudero" whose prize ceremony will be held on 14 of September 2019.
The objective of the contest is to promote the creation of pieces for solo accordion and for accordion in chamber music.

15th “PABLO SOROZABAL” INTERNATIONAL STRING QUARTET COMPOSITION COMPETITION
The Gipuzkoa provincial authority together with the Basque-Navarrese composers' association “Musikagileak” is organising the 15th "Pablo Sorozabal" International String Quartet Composition Competition. The aim of the competition is to foster composition for string quartets by encouraging younger composers to write original works.
- The competition is open to composers of any nationality or origin born after 1st January 1984.
- The composition must not last more than twenty minutes.
- The deadline for entering scores expires on 30th August 2019.
- There is a single prize of 3,000 euros net plus an accreditative diploma.
- The winning score will be premiered in the contemporary music series at the 81st Musical Fortnight in San Sebastián and subsequently included in the 11th “Musikagileak” Contemporary Music Circuit.
