In 2011 Liesl Stoltz embarked on a post-doctoral project to promote South African classical composers and specifically their work for flute. The composers whose works were included were Stefans Grove, Hendrik Hofmeyr, Alexander Johnson, Peter Klatzow, Paul Hanmer, Paul Loeb van Zuilenberg, Roelof Temmingh and Braam du Toit.
